CALIFORNIA — The Team Iridium duo of Grant Dawson and Kyler Phillips earned impressive victories at UFC Norfolk on the weekend.
Grant improved to 3-0 in the Octagon when the Contender Series alum notched a second-round submission win over Darrick Minner. The red-hot featherweight is now 15-1 overall.
Kyler, a fellow Contender Series vet, turned heads in his Octagon debut with an impressive unanimous decision victory over the more experienced Gabriel Silva in bantamweight action. He's now 7-1 after earning Fight-of-the-Night honors in his debut.
