Team Iridium's Stamann, Yanez win and cash in $50,000 bonuses at UFC Austin
LAS VEGAS — Iridium Sports Agency bantamweight contenders Cody “The Spartan” Stamann and Adrian Yanez each scored first-round finishes, and netted $50,000 Performance Bonuses, at UFC Austin on Saturday in Austin, TX.
Cody needed just 59 seconds to take out Eddie Wineland. The victory is the sixth of Cody’s UFC career, bumping his overall record to 20-5, with seven wins by KO and two by submission.
Adrian improved to 5-0 in the UFC with a first-round KO over Tony Kelley. All of Adrian’s UFC wins have earned him a Performance Bonus. He climbed to 16-3 with his ninth straight victory. Ten of his wins have come by KO and two by submission.
