Team Iridium's Garcia, Godinez win big at UFC 287



LAS VEGAS — Iridium Sports Agency clients Steve “Mean Machine” Garcia and Lupita “Loopy” Godinez scored impressive victories at UFC 287 in Miami on Saturday.


Steve earned his second straight KO victory with a second-round TKO over Shayilan Nuerdanbieke in featherweight action. With the win – his 11th by KO – Steve improved to 3-2 in the UFC and 14-5 overall.


Loopy notched her fourth UFC victory with a decision over Cynthia Calvillo in the women’s strawweight division. The former Legacy Fighting Alliance champ climbed to 9-3 with the win.


On the UFC 287 Main Card, Chris “The Action Man” Curtis earned his third $50,000 UFC Performance Bonus after his three-round, back-and-forth middleweight battle with Kelvin Gastelum.
