LAS VEGAS — Iridium Sports Agency clients Evan “The Phenom” Elder and Bassil “The Habibi” Hafez competed at UFC Vegas 77 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Elder earned his first UFC victory with a unanimous decision over Genaro Valdez in their lightweight matchup. With the win, Evan upped his overall record to 8-2 (four knockouts, one submission and one Performance Bonus).
Bassil took home a $50,000 Performance Bonus for Fight-of-the-Night honors in his short-notice UFC debut against Jack Della Maddalena in their welterweight Co-Main Event showdown. Bassil signed with the UFC earlier in the week and rose to the occasion in his highly anticipated first trip to the Octagon.
