LAS VEGAS — Iridium Sports Agency clients Gabriel "Marretinha" Bonfim and Bobby "King" Green were victorious in the UFC’s Octagon at UFC 291 in Salt Lake City, UT on Saturday.
Gabriel improved to 2-0 in the UFC, and 15-0 overall, with a first-round guillotine choke submission victory over Trevin Giles in their welterweight matchup. Both of Gabriel’s UFC wins have come by first-round submission. His record includes 12 submissions and three knockouts.
Bobby earned his 11th UFC victory and eighth Performance Bonus with his third-round, arm triangle choke submission over Tony Ferguson in lightweight action. Bobby improved his overall record to 30-14-1, 1 NC with his ninth submission victory. He also has 10 knockouts on his resume. Bobby extended his lead as the all-time leader for significant strikes landed among UFC lightweights (1,637).
