Team Iridium’s Benson Henderson goes for gold once again at Bellator 292 on Friday

LAS VEGAS — Benson “Smooth” Henderson is going for gold once again.

At Bellator 292 on Friday, the Iridium Sports Agency client challenges Usman Nurmagomedov for the Bellator MMA Lightweight Championship in the opening round of the Bellator MMA Lightweight World Grand Prix in San Jose, CA.

Benson is eager to add to his historic resume that already includes reigns as Lightweight Champion with both the UFC and WEC.

Benson is still riding high after back-to-back victories in 2020. A win Friday will be the eighth of his Bellator career. His 30-11 record includes nine submissions and five knockouts.
