LAS VEGAS – Three Iridium Sports Agency clients were victorious at UFC 297 on Saturday at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
Garrett Armfield earned his second straight win in the Octagon with a decision over Brad Katona in their bantamweight matchup. With the win, the former Fighting Alliance Championship titlist is now 10-3 with all but two of his victories coming by stoppage (six KOs, two submissions).
Chris "The Action Man" Curtis collected his fifth UFC victory with a decision over Marc-André Barriault in their middleweight showdown. Chris, who previously was a champion with CES MMA, upped his record to 31-10, 1 NC (15 knockouts, three submissions).
Sean "The Sniper" Woodson improved to 5-1-1 under the UFC banner with a decision victory against Charles Jourdain in featherweight action. The Contender Series alum is now 11-1-1 (three KOs, one submission) after back-to-back wins in the Octagon.
In the Main Event, the defending champ Sean “Tarzan” Strickland dropped a razor-close split decision to title challenger Dricus Du Plessis in their five-round showdown for the UFC World Middleweight Championship. Sean earned his fourth $50,000 Performance Bonus for his efforts in the sensational Main Event battle.
