CALIFORNIA — Three of Team Iridium's baddest young fighters earned quick victories over the weekend.
Ultra-tough welterweight contender Christian "The Beast" Aguilera did what he does best Friday, picking up his 12th win as a professional over Krzysztof Kułak at Celtic Gladiator 25 in Burbank, Calif. This was good for his ninth first-round stoppage. Yes, you read that correctly.
Red-hot Jorge Alcala improved to 3-1 with a third straight win at CageSport MMA 59 on Saturday in Tacoma, Wash. Alcala secured the bag with a dominant first-round finish over Armando Best, his most experienced challenger to date — good for his second straight first-round finish under the super-tough CageSport banner.
Last but certainly not least, Tyler Diamond rose to 11-1 on Saturday with a disgusting 32-second victory over Justin Linn at PureCombat: Warrior Spirit 2 in his hometown of Oroville, Calif. Diamond has now notched two straight impressive wins since appearing on The Ultimate Fighter.
