LAS VEGAS — Iridium Sports Agency clients César “Cesinha” Almeida and Kevin “El Gallo Negro” Borjas will compete for UFC contracts at the first Contender Series event of the year on Tuesday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
César looks to improve to 4-0 as he takes on Lucas Fernando in the middleweight division. All of César’s MMA victories have come by first-round knockout. The hard-hitting Brazilian is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world. His professional kickboxing record is 47-8-1, 1 NC, with 27 of his wins coming by knockout. The former Glory kickboxer has many world titles and Brazilian national championships on his resume. He holds a kickboxing victory over former UFC champion Alex Pereira.
Kevin tries to improve to 9-1 with a fourth straight stoppage victory over Victor Dias in the flyweight division. Kevin is riding high after winning the Inka FC flyweight belt in his most recent fight. The heavy-handed Peruvian has eight wins by KO.
