LAS VEGAS — Six Iridium Sports Agency clients are ready to turn heads in the UFC’s Octagon at UFC Vegas 98 on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Brandon "Raw Dawg" Royval and Tatsuro Taira meet in Saturday's must-see Main Event. Brandon is the No. 1 contender in the UFC flyweight division, and Tatsuro is the fifth-ranked contender. Brandon, a former Legacy Fighting Alliance champ, is 6-3 in the Octagon, while the former Shooto champ Tatsuro boasts a 6-0 record under the UFC banner. Brandon is 16-7; his body of work includes four knockouts, nine submissions and four Performance Bonuses. Tatsuro's 16-0 record includes five knockouts, seven submissions and three Performance Bonuses.
Grant "KGD" Dawson is ready to climb to 10-1-1 in the UFC with a second straight victory against Rafa Garcia in lightweight action. The Contender Series alum is hunting for his third Performance Bonus. Grant's 21-2-1 record includes four knockouts and 13 submissions.
Josh Fremd takes aim at his third UFC victory at the expense of Abdul Razak Alhassan in their middleweight matchup. Josh's 11-6 record is comprised of four knockouts and four submissions.
Themba "The Answer" Gorimbo is primed to up his UFC record to 4-1 with a fourth straight victory against Niko Price in welterweight action. The former Extreme Fighting Championship Worldwide champ has been victorious in four of his past five trips to the cage. His 13-4 record includes two knockouts and six wins by tapout.
Chidi "Bang Bang" Njokuani goes for his second straight/fourth overall UFC victory versus Jared Gooden in the welterweight division. A Performance Bonus on fight night would be the fourth of Chidi's UFC career. The Contender Series alum previously held titles with Legacy Fighting Alliance and Tachi Palace Fights. He is 23-10 (14 knockouts, one submission).
