LAS VEGAS — Ten Iridium Sports Agency clients will represent the firm in the Octagon at UFC Vegas 93 on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Alex Perez and Tatsuro Taira collide in Saturday's Main Event. Alex is the No. 5 contender in the division; Tatsuro holds the No. 13 spot. Alex is 7-4 under the UFC banner, while Tatsuro is unbeaten in his five trips to the Octagon. Tatsuro's 15-0 record is comprised of seven submissions and four knockouts; Alex is 25-8, with seven submissions and six KOs. Alex, who previously held the Tachi Palace Fights belt, is looking to bring home his fourth Performance Bonus. Tatsuro, a former champion with Shooto, is hunting for his third Performance Bonus.
Miles "Chapo" Johns has his sights set on his fourth straight victory against Douglas Silva de Andrade in bantamweight action. Miles has only lost once in his last six trips to the Octagon. The former Legacy Fighting Alliance champ's 14-2 record includes four knockouts, two submissions and a pair of Performance Bonuses.
Jose "Lobo Solitario" Johnson hunts for his second straight stoppage victory in the Octagon against Asu Almabaev in the flyweight division. Jose has been victorious in four of his past five fights. He is 16-8 (eight KOs, three submissions).
Joshua "The Fearless" Van looks to cruise to 4-0 in the UFC with a ninth straight victory over Tagir Ulanbekov in flyweight action. The former Fury FC champ's 10-1 record includes six KOs and a pair of submissions.
Westin Wilson is ready to turn heads and bring home his first UFC victory in his featherweight matchup with Jeka Saragih. Westin is 16-9, with all of his wins coming by stoppage (11 submissions, five KOs).
Garrett Armfield and Brady “Bam Bam” Hiestand meet in a battle of top bantamweight contenders. Both fighters are looking to up their UFC record to 3-1 with a third straight victory. Garrett, who previously held the Fighting Alliance Championship belt, is 10-3 with six KOs and a pair of submissions, while Brady boasts a 7-2 record (three KOs, two submissions). Brady also won two fights on The Ultimate Fighter 29.
Adam Fugitt and Josh “Bushido” Quinlan lock horns in a must-see welterweight showdown. Both men are hunting for their second UFC victory. Adam is 9-4, with all but one of his wins coming by stoppage (five KOs, three submissions). All of the wins on Josh's 6-2 record have come by finish (four KOs, two submissions).
