Team Iridium Preview for UFC Vegas 72

LAS VEGAS — Eight Iridium Sports Agency clients, including Ricky Simón in the Main Event, return to action at UFC Vegas 72 on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Ricky, the No. 10-ranked bantamweight in the UFC, tries to improve to 9-2 in the Octagon with a sixth straight win over the No. 8 Yadong Song. The former Legacy Fighting Alliance champ is 20-3 with a body of work that includes six knockouts, four submissions and three Performance Bonuses. This is the first Main Event bout of his UFC career.

Cody Brundage hunts for his third UFC victory against Rodolfo Vieira in the middleweight division. Cody, a former double-champ with Lights Out Championship, is 8-3 with four wins by KO and three by submission. He's going for his second Performance Bonus.

Jamey-Lyn Horth looks to improve to 6-0 in her highly anticipated UFC debut against Hailey Cowan in women’s bantamweight action. Jamey-Lyn joins the UFC after winning the vacant LFA flyweight title in her most recent bout. All of the Battlefield Fight League champ’s wins have come by stoppage (three knockouts, two submissions).

Journey Newson eyes his second UFC victory against Brian Kelleher in their bantamweight matchup. Journey’s 10-4, 1 NC record includes three knockouts and three submission wins.

Julian “Juicy J” Erosa and Fernando “El Valiente” Padilla meet in a battle of fast-rising featherweights. Julian is going for his seventh win in the Octagon. His 28-10 record includes 12 submissions, 11 knockouts and a pair of Performance Bonuses. Fernando enters his highly anticipated UFC debut after winning the Fury FC featherweight title in his most recent bout. He's 14-4 on the strength of back-to-back wins, and his body of work includes eight submissions and four knockouts.

Josh “The Renegade” Quinlan and Trey “The Truth” Waters collide in a matchup of must-see welterweight contenders. Josh is coming off a first-round KO in his successful UFC debut, which upped his record to 6-0, 1 NC. All of his wins have come by stoppage (four knockouts, two submissions). Trey brings a 7-1 record into his UFC debut. He's riding high since winning the LFA welterweight title with a second-round KO earlier this month.
