Team Iridium Preview for UFC Vegas 53
LAS VEGAS — Nine Iridium Sports Agency clients are ready to showcase their skills Saturday at UFC Vegas 53 in Las Vegas.
In the Main Event, Marlon “Chito” Vera hunts for his third straight victory against Rob Font in the bantamweight division. Marlon has won eight of his past 10 UFC fights and is the No. 8-ranked bantamweight in the promotion. This is his 20th fight in the UFC’s octagon. He holds a record of 20-7-1 as a professional.
Mike “Money” Breeden and Natan Levy each return to the octagon for a second time in a battle of fast-rising lightweight contenders. Breeden is 10-4, while Natan is 6-1 entering fight night.
Tristan “Boondock” Connelly goes for his second UFC victory against Darren Elkins in the featherweight division. Tristan has been victorious in five of his last six fights, and is 14-7 overall.
Grant “KGD” Dawson tries to climb to 6-0-1 in the UFC's octagon as he takes on Jared Gordon in the lightweight division. Grant is 17-1-1 overall, with his lone loss coming all the way back in 2016.
Andre “Touchy” Fili enters the octagon for the 17th time as he battles Joanderson Brito in the featherweight division. Andre enters the octagon with a record of 21-8 (1 NC).
Gabe "Gifted" Green looks for his second straight UFC victory against Yohan Lainesse in the welterweight division. Gabe is 10-3, with seven wins in his past eight outings.
Gina “Danger” Mazany takes aim at her third UFC win as she meets Shanna Young in the women’s flyweight division. Gina is 7-5 heading into her ninth UFC contest.
Last but certainly not least, undefeated Japanese flyweight Tatsuro Taira makes his hotly anticipated UFC debut against Carlos Candelario. Tatsuro brings a perfect 10-0 record into his first trip to the octagon.
