Team Iridium Preview for UFC San Antonio



LAS VEGAS — Six Iridium Sports Agency clients are back in action at UFC San Antonio on Saturday, including Marlon “Chito” Vera in the Main Event.


Marlon hunts for his 5th straight/15th overall UFC victory against Cory Sandhagen. Marlon is the No. 3-ranked bantamweight in the UFC, while Sandhagen is ranked fifth. Marlon's 22-7-1 record includes 10 wins by submission and eight knockouts, including dramatic KOs over former UFC champions in two of his past three fights. Marlon sits atop the leaderboard for most finishes in UFC bantamweight history (10). He’s looking for his ninth $50,000 UFC Performance Bonus in Texas.


Chidi "Bang Bang" Njokuani hunts for his third first-round KO in the Octagon against Albert Duraev in middleweight action. Chidi is 22-8, 1 NC (14 knockouts, one submission). The former Tachi Palace champ has brought home $50,000 in all three of his first UFC fights.


Alex Perez, the No. 6-ranked UFC flyweight, looks to climb to 7-3 in the Octagon against the ninth-ranked Manel Kape. The former Tachi Palace flyweight champ’s 24-7 record comprises seven submissions, five knockouts and a pair of Performance Bonuses.


Daniel “The Pit” Pineda goes for his fifth UFC victory against Tucker Lutz in the featherweight division. Daniel’s resume includes title reigns with Legacy Fighting Alliance and Fury Fighting Championship, and a pair of UFC Performance Bonuses. He is 27-14, 3 NC (18 submissions, nine knockouts).


Trey “Samurai Ghost” Ogden and Manuel “El Loco” Torres meet in a battle of top lightweight prospects. Both men are gunning for their second straight UFC victory. Trey, a former Fury FC champ, is 16-5 with 11 wins by submission, while Manuel's 13-2 record includes six knockouts and six submissions.
