Team Iridium Preview for UFC Mexico



LAS VEGAS – Five Iridium Sports Agency clients will represent The Darkside at UFC Mexico on Saturday at Arena CDMX in Mexico City.


In the Main Event, Brandon “The Assassin Baby” Moreno and Brandon “Raw Dawg” Royval clash in a must-see flyweight showdown. Moreno is the No. 1 contender in the UFC’s stacked 125-pound division, while Royval occupies the No. 3 contender spot. 


The former UFC World Flyweight Champion Moreno is hunting for his 10th victory in the Octagon. His 21-7-2 record is comprised of 11 submissions, five KOs and seven Performance Bonuses. He also was a champion with Legacy Fighting Alliance. Royval is taking aim at his 6th UFC victory. The former Legacy Fighting Alliance champ is 15-7 with three wins in his last four outings. His body of work includes nine wins by submission, four KOs and four Performance Bonuses.


Edgar "Puro Chicali" Cháirez is ready to make another statement against Daniel Lacerda in flyweight action. The two first met in September, when Edgar defeated Lacerda via submission before the bout was called a No Contest. Edgar's 10-5, 1 NC record, with all of his wins coming by stoppage (six submissions, four KOs).


Claudio "Prince of Peru" Puelles is ready to climb to 6-2 in the UFC's lightweight division at the expense of Fares Ziam. Claudio has been victorious in five of his last six trips to the Octagon. His 12-3 record includes seven submissions, two KOs and a pair of Performance Bonuses.


Raul "El Niño Problema" Rosas Jr. goes for his second straight/third overall UFC victory against Ricky Turcios in the bantamweight division. He's also looking to bring home his third Performance Bonus. The Contender Series alum is 8-1 (five submissions, two KOs).
