LAS VEGAS — Five Iridium Sports Agency clients are back in action at UFC 283 on Saturday in Rio de Janeiro.
In the Co-Main Event, Brandon “The Assassin Baby” Moreno is ready to unify the UFC World Flyweight Championship in “The Last Dance” with his rival Deiveson Figueiredo.
This is the record fourth time that Brandon and Figueiredo will meet with UFC gold on the line. A victory Saturday will be the ninth of Brandon’s UFC career.
Brandon, the first Mexican champion in UFC history, brings a 20-6-2 record into battle after most recently defeating Kai Kara-France in July to win the UFC World Interim Flyweight Championship. His resume includes 11 submissions, four knockouts and six UFC Performance Bonuses.
Gabriel “Marretinha” Bonfim eyes his 14th straight victory in his UFC debut against Mounir Lazzez in the welterweight division. Gabriel is 13-0, with all of his wins coming by stoppage (10 submissions and three knockouts).
Also making his highly anticipated UFC debut is Ismael “Marreta” Bonfim, who tries to improve to 19-3 with a 13th straight victory over Terrance McKinney in lightweight action. He has eight wins by knockout and four by submission.
Thiago Moises enters the UFC’s Octagon for the 10th time as he battles Melquizael Costa in the lightweight division. Thiago’s 16-6 comprises seven wins by submission, three knockouts and one Performance Bonus.
Cody “Spartan” Stamann hunts for his seventh overall – and second straight – UFC victory against Luan Lacerda in bantamweight action. Cody’s 20-5-1 record includes seven knockouts, two submissions and one Performance Bonus.
