Team Iridium's Battle, McKinney notch 1st-round finishes at UFC Vegas 59

LAS VEGAS — Iridium Sports Agency clients Bryan Battle and Terrance McKinney both earned impressive victories at UFC Vegas 59 in Las Vegas on Saturday.

Bryan improved to 3-0 in the UFC with a 44-second, head-kick KO over Takashi Sato in his welterweight debut. Bryan has now won nine straight, including a 2-0 run on The Ultimate Fighter 29. His 8-1 record as a professional includes five wins by submission and two by KO. He earned a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus for his efforts.

Terrance climbed to 3-1 in the UFC with a first-round submission over Erick Gonzalez in the lightweight division. Terrance improved to 13-4 overall, with six first-round finishes in his last seven fights. He now has eight wins by submission and five by KO.

Team Iridium Preview for UFC Vegas 59

LAS VEGAS — Four Iridium Sports Agency clients are back in action at UFC Vegas 59 on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Bryan Battle looks to climb to 3-0 in the UFC against Takashi Sato in the welterweight division. Bryan, the winner of The Ultimate Fighter Season 29, is riding high on an eight-fight winning streak, including two exhibition victories in the TUF house. Bryan is 7-1 in professional bouts, with five wins by submission and one by knockout.

Terrance “T. Wrecks” McKinney takes aim at his third UFC victory against Erick Gonzalez in the lightweight division. He has scored first-round finishes in five of his last six fights, including two in the Octagon. Terrance is 12-4, with seven submission wins and five victories by KO.

Josh “The Maverick” Quinlan and Jason “The Vanilla Gorilla” Witt meet in a battle of top welterweights. Josh is making his UFC debut and boasting a record of 5-0, 1 NC. All of Josh’s wins have come by stoppage (three submissions and two KOs). Jason is hunting for his third UFC victory. He is 19-8, with eight submissions and three knockouts.

Team Iridium's Brandon Moreno strikes gold at UFC 277 in Dallas

LAS VEGAS — Iridium Sports Agency client Brandon “The Assassin Baby” Moreno struck gold Saturday, earning the UFC Interim World Flyweight Championship in the Co-Main Event of UFC 277 in Dallas, TX.

Brandon accomplished the feat with a well-earned TKO victory over Kai Kara-France, dropping him with a brutal liver kick and heavy follow-up strikes on the ground.

“The Assassin Baby” improved to 20-6-2 with the victory. It was the fourth T/KO win of his career, while 11 of his victories have come by submission.
