Team Iridium Preview for UFC 297

LAS VEGAS – Four Iridium Sports Agency clients are ready to put on a show at UFC 297 on Saturday at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, including Sean “Tarzan” Strickland in the Main Event.

Sean is set to defend his UFC World Middleweight Championship for the first time against rival Dricus Du Plessis. Sean defeated Israel Adesanya to claim the title in his most recent fight at UFC 293 in Sydney, Australia. Sean is hunting for his fourth straight victory and fourth $50,000 Performance Bonus. The former King of the Cage champ's overall record is 28-5 (11 KOs, four submissions). His record in the Octagon is 15-5. 

Garrett Armfield hunts for his second straight, first-round finish in the Octagon against Brad Katona in the bantamweight division. The former Fight Alliance Championship titlist is 9-3 with all but one of his victories coming by stoppage (six KOs, two submissions).

Chris "The Action Man" Curtis goes for his fifth UFC victory and fourth Performance Bonus against Marc-André Barriault in their middleweight showdown. Chris, who previously was a champion with CES MMA, is 30-10, 1 NC (15 knockouts, three submissions).

Sean "The Sniper" Woodson looks to improve to 5-1-1 under the UFC banner with a second straight win against Charles Jourdain in featherweight action. The Contender Series alum’s 10-1-1 record is comprised of three KOs and submission.

Team Iridium brings home 4 wins at UFC Vegas 84

LAS VEGAS — Four Iridium Sports Agency clients were victorious on Saturday at UFC Vegas 84 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Mario Bautista brought home his sixth straight win with a unanimous decision over Ricky Simon in their bantamweight matchup. With the victory, Mario upped his UFC record to 8-2, and his overall record to 14-2 (six submissions, three KOs).

Marcus “The Maniac” McGhee climbed to 3-0 in the UFC with a second-round TKO victory against Gaston Bolaños, also in bantamweight action. He was awarded a $50,000 Performance Bonus for his efforts – his third such bonus in as many UFC appearances. Marcus is now 9-1 with seven wins by KO and one by submission. 

Nikolas "Iron" Motta earned his second UFC victory with a 63-second TKO over Tom Nolan in their lightweight matchup. The former Cage Fury FC champ now has 10 wins by KO, and he improved his record to 14-5, 1 NC with the victory.

Joshua "The Fearless" Van is now 3-0 in the UFC following his second-round TKO against Felipe Bunes in flyweight action. With the win – his eighth straight – the former Fury FC flyweight champ is 10-1 (six KOs, two submissions).

Five Team Iridium clients kick off 2024 at UFC Vegas 84 on Saturday

LAS VEGAS — Five Iridium Sports Agency clients will enter the Octagon on Saturday at UFC Vegas 84 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Mario Bautista looks to improve his UFC record to 8-2 with a sixth straight win over Ricky Simon in the bantamweight division. Mario's 13-2 record includes six submissions, three KOs and a pair of $50,000 Performance Bonuses. 

Marcus “The Maniac” McGhee is ready to climb to 3-0 in the UFC with a fifth straight stoppage victory against Gaston Bolaños in bantamweight action. Marcus earned Performance Bonuses in both of his first two trips to the Octagon. His 8-1 record is comprised of seven KOs and one submission. 

Nikolas "Iron" Motta is ready to bring home his second UFC victory against Tom Nolan in their lightweight matchup. Nikolas is 13-5, 1 NC, with nine of his victories coming by knockout.

Joshua "The Fearless" Van is primed to climb to 3-0 in the UFC with an eighth straight win over Felipe Bunes in flyweight action. The former Fury FC flyweight champ is 9-1 (five KOs, two submissions).

Westin Wilson enters the cage for the 25th time as a professional as he takes on Jean Silva in the featherweight division. Westin is hunting for his first UFC victory, and trying to up his overall record to 17-8. All of his wins have come by stoppage (11 submissions, five KOs).
