Team Iridium Preview for Road to UFC

LAS VEGAS – Undefeated Iridium Sports Agency client Rei Tsuruya will compete for a UFC contract in the Road to UFC flyweight tournament final on Saturday evening at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

The 21-year-old Chiba, Japan product brings a spotless 8-0 record into his finals matchup against Jiniushiyue. All but one of the former Pancrase flyweight champion’s victories have come by stoppage (three KOs, four submissions).

Team Iridium Preview for UFC Vegas 85

LAS VEGAS – Five Iridium Sports Agency clients return to action at UFC Vegas 85 on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Blake "El Animal" Bilder is ready to bring home his second UFC victory against Jeong Yeong Lee in their featherweight matchup. The former Cage Fury FC champ boasts a record of 8-1-1, with five of the Contender Series alum’s wins coming by stoppage (one knockout, four submissions). 

MarQuel Mederos hunts for his third straight, first-round finish in his highly anticipated UFC debut against Landon Quiñones in lightweight action. MarQuel is riding a six-fight winning streak heading into his debut after earning a UFC contract in his most recent fight at Dana White's Contender Series. MarQuel's 8-1 record includes six KOs.

Jamal "The Stormtrooper" Pogues takes aim at his second UFC win versus Thomas Petersen in their heavyweight battle. Jamal, a Contender Series vet, is 10-4 (four KOs, one submission).

Themba “The Answer” Gorimbo and Pete “Dead Game” Rodriguez meet in a must-see welterweight matchup. Themba is hunting for his second straight UFC victory. The former EFC champ brings a 11-4 record into battle, with one knockout and six submissions. Pete is also going for his second straight win in the Octagon. He is 5-1, with all of his wins coming by first-round KO.

Team Iridium's Armfield, Curtis & Woodson earn victories at UFC 297

LAS VEGAS – Three Iridium Sports Agency clients were victorious at UFC 297 on Saturday at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

Garrett Armfield earned his second straight win in the Octagon with a decision over Brad Katona in their bantamweight matchup. With the win, the former Fighting Alliance Championship titlist is now 10-3 with all but two of his victories coming by stoppage (six KOs, two submissions).

Chris "The Action Man" Curtis collected his fifth UFC victory with a decision over Marc-André Barriault in their middleweight showdown. Chris, who previously was a champion with CES MMA, upped his record to 31-10, 1 NC (15 knockouts, three submissions).

Sean "The Sniper" Woodson improved to 5-1-1 under the UFC banner with a decision victory against Charles Jourdain in featherweight action. The Contender Series alum is now 11-1-1 (three KOs, one submission) after back-to-back wins in the Octagon.

In the Main Event, the defending champ Sean “Tarzan” Strickland dropped a razor-close split decision to title challenger Dricus Du Plessis in their five-round showdown for the UFC World Middleweight Championship. Sean earned his fourth $50,000 Performance Bonus for his efforts in the sensational Main Event battle.
