CALIFORNIA — Team Iridium killer Sean "Lucky" McPadden is back in action at Shamrock FC 326 on Dec. 7, LIVE on FITE. He'll be trying to improve to 4-0 with a fourth straight stoppage victory.

How did you find MMA to begin with?

I turned on Spike TV when I was 12 or 13 one night and I thought that'd be fun to mess around with. So my friends and I started rolling and boxing in my basement and it eventually led to me getting involved in a gym; my career took off from there.

How do you feel about what you've accomplished so far?

I'm proud as can be starting my pro career 3-0, three finishes for LFA, all wins in dominant fashion, and being rated No. 2 in the Midwest as an ammy before I turned pro. I feel very ready to take on the world and whatever opportunities come my way.

What's been the secret to your success?

Consistency, I've lived in the gym for past nine years and it shows in my fights,. There's not many situations that I haven't experienced in the practice room and it shows when it's time to perform.

What should fans expect in your next bout? What's the most likely outcome?

A dominant striking clinic that will lead to a stoppage within two rounds.

Where would you like to be one year from today?

I will be signed to a top promotion in the world; they can't ignore me knocking on the door forever. Until then, I'll just keep making statements in the cage.

How would you describe your 2019 fighting campaign in one word?

Excellence.

10! My last fight taught me so much about myself and I’ll be 10-times better in my next!

Did you do anything to celebrate your win?

Not yet! Mostly dinners with friends and family.

Ideally, when would you like to return to action?

New year comes, I’m ready.

Where would you like to be one year from today?

8-0 and in the UFC.

What would you like to tell MMA fans now that you have the opportunity?

I’d like to say, remember the name; I’m just getting started.
