CALIFORNIA — Three Team Iridium fighters are ready to step into the Octagon at UFC Rio Rancho on Saturday, LIVE on ESPN+.

Leading the charge is surging bantamweight Casey Kenney. A former champ-champ with Legacy Fighting Alliance, Kenney is trying to improve to 3-0 in the UFC's Octagon against Merab Dvalishvili.

Dequan Townsend returns to the Octagon on short notice to take on Devin Clark in light-heavyweight action. "The Tarantula" is hunting for his 22nd victory as a professional fighter.

Rodrigo "Kazula" Vargas makes his second trip to the UFC's Octagon against Brok Weaver in the 155-pound weight class.

CALIFORNIA — It was a banner weekend for Team Iridium athletes.

Four UFC victories, three Performance-of-the-Night bonuses in the Octagon and four new belts for our collection were some of the highlights.

Mario Bautista, Journey Newson, Khaos Williams and Youssef Zalal all had their hand raised in the Octagon at UFC 247 in Houston. James Krause and Jonathan Martinez, sadly, were robbed of victories by incompetent judges (both decisions are being appealed this week).

Bautista, Williams and Krause all earned $50,000 bonuses for their efforts.

Top Canadian prospects Achilles Estremadura and Jared Revels defended their Battlefield Fight League titles in Canada, while Jamey-Lyn Horth Wessels earned her first professional title at the same event.

Cody Brundage, meanwhile, improved to 5-0 with a first-round submission victory, becoming the Lights Out Championship champ-champ in the process.

Across the pond, top European prospect Cameron Else notched his sixth straight first-round finish.

CALIFORNIA — Six of Team Iridium's best and brightest take center stage at UFC 247 tonight in Houston.

Three fighters will be competing live on ESPN.

James Krause, a legend, steps up on 24 hours notice, up a weight class, to take on hometown fighter Trevin Giles. James is gunning for his seventh straight UFC victory, and a third straight stoppage.

Mario Bautista looks for his second straight Octagon win — and second straight POTN bonus — against Miles Johns in bantamweight action.

Kalinn "Khaos" Williams makes his highly anticipated UFC debut against Alex Morono in the welterweight division. Kalinn brings a very impressive 9-1 record into his Octagon debut, with his six most recent victories all coming via stoppage.

Three of our fighters will kick off the card on UFC Fight Pass.

Jonathan Martinez guns for his second straight POTN bonus when he fights Andre Ewell in bantamweight action.

Journey Newson goes headhunting for his first UFC victory when he fights Domingo Pilarte, also at 135 pounds.

Finally, Youssef Zalal makes his much-anticipated Octagon debut on short notice against Austin Lingo at 145 pounds.
